Gold panning with Mountain Mike!

In this activity, our very own Mountain Mike will lead kids as they learn about the dream versus the reality of the California Gold Rush. What routes did the gold seekers take to reach California? What would you do if you struck it rich in the California gold fields? What did actual prospectors do with their gold? Kids will pan for real gold just like the prospectors of old!
